Terms and Conditions

Minnaar Shuttle & Tours undertakes to provide all services offered subject to the terms and conditions set out herein, which terms and conditions are accepted by the passenger.

DEFINITIONS
Passenger means: individuals, groups, companies or other legal persons using the services offered by Minnaar Shuttle & Tours and includes the agents of passenger.
Services means: the provision of accommodation and/or transportation and/or meals as offered by Minnaar Shuttle & Tours and accepted by the Passenger.
Departure means: the scheduled date of departure of the Minnaar Shuttle & Tours vehicle.

PRICES
Prices are subject to alteration without prior notice. Prices are also subject to adjustment in the event of changes in Value Added Tax (or GST in Namibia), fuel prices, airfares or hotel charges.
All prices quoted are Nett
Prices are subject to final Itinerary

THE NO SHOW POLICY
“Minnaar Shuttle &Tours” should be notifying of any cancellations at least 2 hours in advance before flight arrival or tour departures.
Non-arrivals without prior notification will be charged the full amount

MEALS
Meals included are as specified in the tour itinerary.  Please check the tour itinerary for details.
Dinner transfers are quoted until 23h00, after which an additional R250.00 per hour will be charged.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is in air-conditioned touring vehicles, coaches, minibuses or vehicles appropriate to the requirements of the tour. Minnaar Shuttle & Tours therefore reserves the right to use smaller coaches, minibuses or sedan vehicles on its scheduled tours should the number of passengers participating reduce sufficiently to warrant this.

FOREIGN LANGUAGE GUIDED TOUR SOUTH AFRICA
As a rule, all tours will be conducted in English however; foreign language guides are available on request.

HEALTH AND VISAS
Agents and passengers are required to ensure that all such requirements are attended to, as Minnaar Shuttle & Tours accept no responsibility in this regard.

LUGGAGE
One suitcase and one overnight bag per person are allowed. Minnaar Shuttle & Tours accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to luggage or personal property from whatsoever causes arising. Passengers are advised to take up adequate insurance cover.

RIGHT OF ADMISSION RESERVED
Minnaar Shuttle & Tours shall at its discretion arrange seating of passengers, and other conduct rules and reserves the right at its discretion to decline to accept or retain any person as a passenger. Passengers shall obey every lawful instruction of any employee of Minnaar Shuttle & Tours.

SMOKING
Smoking is not permitted on any Scheduled Tours. Regular comfort stops are included en route.

CHECK IN TIME
Passengers shall check in at all departure points at least 2Hours  before the scheduled departure time. Minnaar Shuttle & Tours does not accept responsibility for any passenger who fails to comply with this condition.

DELAYS
Minnaar Shuttle & Tours shall not be responsible for the consequences of any delays whether arising from accidents, breakdowns, or any other cause.

RESPONSIBILITY
Minnaar Shuttle & Tours carries extensive passenger liability insurance details of which will be made available on request. Minnaar Shuttle & Tours is not responsible for any damages sustained by any passenger as a result of any act or omission whatsoever of any hotel, airline or other person, notwithstanding the fact that Minnaar Shuttle & Tours acted as agent of such hotel, airline or other person.

ALTERATIONS
All tours, charters, hires, itineraries, travel arrangements, hotel accommodation and other arrangements are subject to alterations or cancellations at any time without prior notice and for any reason at the sole and absolute discretion of Minnaar Shuttle & Tours.
Minnaar Shuttle & Tours shall not be responsible for any damages whatsoever arising from any such alteration or cancellation.    

STANDARD AND SAFETY
Minnaar Shuttle & Tours undertakes that vehicles provided are large enough to accommodate the number of passengers and luggage as is specified.
All drivers are licensed in terms of local legislation.
All vehicles are safe and comply with relevant local safety regulations.

All our vehicles are insured substantially for passenger liability. All tours are subject to a minimum number of passengers. (where indicated) All tour departure & arrival times are approximate. Luggage & personal possessions are carried at your own risk. Minnaar Tours  accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to luggage or personal possessions of passengers. Please ensure that valuables & travel documents are kept safe at all times. Payments: V.A.T. is non-refundable on all tours. Master, Visa, American Express & Diners Club credit cards welcome. Cash payments are to be made in South African Rand unless alternative arrangements have been made. Confirmation/ Booking Procedures: Acceptance of our quotation in writing 25% deposit is payable upon confirmation Balance payable before commencement of tour Cancellations: All cancellations must be done in writing as no verbal cancellations will be accepted. In event of client cancelling their reservations, Minnaar Tours shall have the right to either claim the deposit paid b such a passenger or to retain the deposit and claim damages suffered by Minnaar Tours. The minimum  cancellation fee, which may be imposed in the event of a client cancelation is as follows : Less 6 weeks prior to departure – 40% total cost Less 4 weeks prior to departure – 60% total cost Less 2 weeks prior to departure – 100% total cost General Disclaimer: Minnaar Tours, their employees, agents and associates shall not be responsible for and shall be exempt from any liability in respect of any loss, damage, accident, injury, delay or inconvenience to any person or their luggage and any other personal property wherever the same shall occur and whether the same shall arise from or be occasioned by the negligence of  Minnaar Tours, their employees, agents, associates or other persons directly or indirectly in the employ or service of the company.
